Helping Missouri’s Recycling Infrastructure Grow!
The Missouri Market Development Program Steering Committee Meeting will be March 6, 2015, at 10:30 AM at the EIERA Office, 425 Madison Street, Second Floor, Jefferson City, Missouri.
The Missouri Market Development Program promotes the development of markets for recovered materials and recycled content products throughout Missouri by providing businesses, governments and other organizations the following:
Since 1992, the Missouri Market Development Program has assisted more than 200 Missouri companies, helping them make useful products out of materials, such as:
- Asphalt Roofing Shingles
- Carpet Scraps
- Waste Wood
- Waste Food Products and
- Many other materials
The Missouri Market Development Program assistance enabled these companies to divert thousands of tons of waste, create hundreds of jobs and realize higher profits.
The Midwest Materials Exchange, a partnership program of the EIERA and Bridging the Gap, is back and better than ever – now powered by PlanetReuse!
The Midwest Materials Exchange is a “store” within the PlanetReuse national marketplace. We offer this store so companies can sell or give-away materials confidentially. Our members’ information is kept private until a match is made. Plus, our members can post an unlimited number of recyclable commodities or commercial by-products without having to pay a fee or commission. And, life just got easier – using the phone you already carry, MME’s new, intuitive, easy-to-use app will help you connect with others!
